APPSC Group 2 Eligibility: Age Limit

The candidate must be within the age group of 18-42 years in order to be eligible to apply for APPSC Group 2 Recruitment. Here is the age relaxation offered to candidates from reserved categories:

The applicants who have an interest in giving the APPSC Group 2 exam can fill out the APPSC Group 2 application form online. The applicants are required to do a one-time registration process before filling out the application form. The applicants can follow the steps given below to fill out the form.   • Step 1: Visit the official website of APPSC (http://www.psc.ap.gov.in/ ).
  • Step 2: Go to the notifications/ recruitment section.
  • Step 3: Click on the APPSC Group 2 notification link.
  • Step 4: The candidate is then required to read the APPSC group 2 notification carefully.
  • Step 5: The candidate is then required to click on the “ apply online” option and carefully fill out the required details.
  • Step 6: Attach all the required documents in the prescribed format.
  • Step 7: Pay the application fee.
  • Step 8: Submit the application form.

Admit Card

APPSC Group 2 Admit Card 2022

The APPSC Group 2 admit card is issued by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission for each phase of the exam separately. APPSC provides the candidates with an online Admit card in PDF form instead of a printed hall ticket.

The candidates can download the APPSC Group 2 hall ticket using their user ID and password. The candidates must carry the APPSC Group 2 Admit Card to the examination center.

Here are the steps that must be followed in order to download the APPSC Group 2 Admit Card:

  • Step 1: Visit the official website of APPSC- https://psc.ap.gov.in
  • Step 2: Now, go to the official website of APPSC Group 2.
  • Step 3: Log in using the user id and password.
  • Step 4: Click on the password link given against the exam name.
  • Step 5: Once you have entered the correct login details, the APPSC Group 2 Admit Card will be displayed on the screen.
  • Step 6: Verify the details on the APPSC Group 2 Admit Card.
  • Step 7: Download the admit card.
  • Step 8: Take at least 2 printouts of the admit card to carry it to the APPSC exam center.

The APPSC Group 2 exam is conducted in three phases- Prelims, Mains, and Personality Test/Interview. The candidates who will clear the APPSC Group 2 Prelims will only be eligible to appear for the Mains exam. Here is the paper-wise exam pattern for the APPSC Group 2 exam:

APPSC Group 2 Prelims Exam Pattern

The APPSC Prelims exam includes three sections each carrying 50 marks. The total duration of the exam is 150 minutes and 150 questions are asked in total. There is no negative marking in the exam. The APPSC Group 2 Prelims exam consists of three sections:

  • Social and Cultural History of Andhra Pradesh & Indian Constitution
  • Planning and Economy

Selection Process

APPSC Group 2 Selection Process 2022

The APPSC Group 2 selection process is completed in three stages which are as follows:

  1. Screening test / Preliminary test
  2. Main examination
  3. Personal interview

Note- Applicants who have cleared the written exam i.e. Prelims and Mains exam are entitled to further selection process including computer proficiency, document verification, and physical standard test.
